Vintage Hawkeye Bucher Plastic Ferrule Broadhead

Forauction is the last rare Hawkeye Bucher I have to offer. This unique c. 1959head was produced by the Hawkeye Feather Company in Salem. Oregon. This designwas the Flag Ship of the Fleet back in 1959. The advertisements touted the fact the head had internal threads insidethe ferrule that you screwed your wood shafts into, thus not needing any glueto hold the head to the shaft. Also advertised was the hook designed blade atthe rear of the blade that was sharp and would not dull in... the back quiversused in those days. This head is just like one I just sold in last weeks’auction, but this head was sharpened at the factory which was not common as theadvertisements stated the archer had to sharpen their own blades. Head weighs151 grains and still has the factory plastic fingers on the rear of theblade.  Head is in as new condition.NOTICE: Please be aware that I generally sell pre-ownedvintage items unless otherwise noted.
