This handsome Canon 518 Super 8 Camera Kit is part of a group of gear I purchased from an Aeronautical Engineer...a rocket scientist! here in St Louis. This professional chose the best gear and cared for it correctly. Everything was carefully stored with the batteries removed ( more than half the gear I see has old exploded batteries install...ed.
I have very lightly cleaned the camera and lenses. I installed new batteries and tested the camera. Everything works correctly. I will include (2) new 625A batteries and an outdated film cartridge(still sealed) for the buyer. The kit also includes a tele-converter wide angle lens and the hard case with strap. Included super 8 cartridge exp 1/1982, not guaranteed due to age.
As a courtesy I will include a printed manual I downloaded.
This is a wonderfully solid and correct kit that will give many years of service.
