A slim pamphlet, taken from a larger work. Delicately held together. Measuring approx. 18cm x 14.5cm. Lightly grubby/browned, with occasional marks and creases. Chip to inner edge of last leaf Outer page edges hint bumped and frayed.
Scarce E...NGLISH CIVIL WAR pamphlet detail the movements of the army, the raising of troops and individual commanders and various events/news from WORCESTER, BARNSTABLE; DEVON, DONCASTER, DUBLIN, BRISTOLL, WARWICKE, WOLVERHAMPTON, NEWCASTLE, WESTMINSTER.
Of particular note is the date of the events within the pamphlet 18-25 October and the locations mentioned, including the sections on Worcester, Warwick and Wolverhampton, which describes the build up of events to what is now known as the Battle of Edgehill.
