This 4X5 inch plate camera was made in 1912 Exclusively for Sears & Roebuck & Co.
Designed for both landscapes and portraits requiring a long focal length.
Constructed of fine Honduras Mahogany, dovetailed rounded corners with a hand polished finish. Covered in walrus grain genuine leather. The Beautiful bellows are Red "Russian Leather" and have an "Extra-Long" capacity (see photos). They are "Light Tight" and in Excellent Condition.
All the metal parts are solid brass with highly polished nickel finish.
In addition to the long bellows it has a "Revolving Back" (photos 10 & 11), "Rise & Fall" lens mount, and left and right "Shift" (photos 13 & 14). Many more possibilities than almost all folding cameras including some of the most expensive.
The lens is a high grade f:6.3 Rapid Orthographic. The shutter is a Conley Automatic with speeds from 1 sec. - 1/100 sec. T &B. There is also a spirit level still with fluid and working.
In Exceptional Original Full Working Condition Externally and Internally.
The Lens is clean no scratches, cleaning marks or fungus and only a very slight amount of internal dust. It is in "ready to Use" Condition.
The Shutter works at all speeds and is Very Accurate.
The Black Walrus grained covering is complete and in very close to Original Condition.
There are No dents, dings, brassing or scratches and no bright marks In fact it still looks very close to new. Really incredible for a 100 plus year old camera.
In fact the camera has hardly any signs of age, use or handling. The image on the ground glass is as bright as new. Internally the camera is Exceptionally clean. There are only the slightest signs the camera has ever been used. The "Waist-Level" Viewfinder opens correctly and the image is perfect.

In its original fitted leather case (photo 16).with two maple wood double sided film holders and a set of six Accessories in a fitted case: Yellow sky filter, Portrait, Wide Angle, Telephoto, Copying and a Duplicator (photo 15).
