This is a vintage Madame Alexander Cissy peignoir or robe in a sheer pink flocked nylon fabric. The neckline in a deep V in the front and back which is trimmed with beautiful cotton val laces with pink satin ribbon running through it. A pink satin ribbon bow adorns the front and it closes in the front with a hidden snap. The hem is also trimmed in ...fine val lace. There is no tag but I guarentee the robe to be a genuine Madame Alexander Cissy garment. I have other Cissy robes as well as a duplicate of this robe that are also untagged. A pair of bedroom rose mules were created by me to go with the robe and capture the look of the flocked rosebuds in the garment.The bases are a clear acrylic with sparkles. Pink elastics, val lace cupped vintage pink cabbage roses with green silk ribbon trim. Baby pink merino wool felt insoles complete these beautiful feminine bedroom high heel slippers. This is a lovely set I have dressed my Cissy's in from time to time and have thoroughly enjoyed having in my collection. The robe is in nice condition and retains its crispness and has never been laundered. There is a very very small separation of the fabric on the seam in the armpit of one sleeve. It was there when I purchased the robe and has never gotten any bigger. This is a gorgeous robe and slipper set as you can see by the photos and looks so dreamy on Cissy!
