Written clearly in a series of French and Spanish student notebooks, this superb facsimile allows one to easily read the novel and contains thousands of unpublished words and sections that were deleted from the final published book, and an amazing deleted introduction explaining the “Lost Generation.” Intended for libraries, relatively few sets went into collector’s hands, and is now one of the more difficult Hemingway first editions to obtain. Essential for any Hemingway collection.
