Up for bid is a nice, incredibly hard to find first edition copy of Harriet Martineau's  "Complete Guide to the English Lakes", from 1855. Leather binding. Amazing 225 page study and travel guide to the lake district in the UK.
Printed by Windemere-Garnett. See photos for more info. Includes maps of the Lake District at the back.
Book is in good condition for its age with some bumping to corners, top and bottom of binding. Pages have browning and foxing at edges and on pages... due to age. Binding is tight, no loose pages. Writing on lead page. Images are still nice an sharp. Maps are crisp and strong.
Insides are clean.
