Vintage Shakespeare Wonderod Spin Fishing Rod SP-508 7'0"
This is a two piece vintage Shakespeare Wonderod spin fishing rod. Model SP-508 from Shakespeare's Presidential series. Rod has a KWIK-Taper design and is 7'0" in length. Rod dates to the middle 1970's. Designed for lure weights of 1/8-3/8 oz. Rod has a 7" tapered specie cork rear grip with a black plastic butt cap. 5" gold aluminum sliding hood ring locking fixed reel seat. 3 1/2" specie cork foregrip with black plastic fore...grip cap. Standard stainless steel hookeeper, reinforced stainless steel lead spinning guide, five standard stainless steel spinning guides, and a Carboloy tip top. Rolled chromed ferrules. Blade is Wonderod white with gold nylon guide winds and blue nylon accents, some extended. Specie cork has been cleaned and reconditioned. There is no logo or I.D. on the rod shaft. Rod is finished in vintage Gudebrod Rod Finish. Each section will pack separately in a clear plastic sleeve.
