I will have to go out on a limb and say I have sold more restored vintage Large Advent speakers than anyone else on eBay. I do this because I believe in their build and sound quality. Enough about me, let's talk about the speakers. Large Advents are an incredible value in a ...vintage loudspeaker. These are the real deal, the first in a series of very famous speakers.The famous "Fried Egg" tweeters and Masonite woofers have a magical sweet sound and the solid wood cabinets produce incredible bass. If you own a pair of these you already know this, and if you only own 1 pair, you are missing out on the incredible sound of double/stacked Advents. Please look up the reviews on stacked/double Advents and you will know what you are missing. A pretty nice pair of Large Advent speakers, recently re-foamed, not by me but, done properly, reversed rolled as all Masonite woofers are. The voice coils were checked and tested on a 30 Hz tone to ensure the best possible sound quality. The grill cloth is all original and still in good condition.The cabinets do show signs of age and use. Please look very carefully at all the pictures for their exact cosmetic condition, they are very presentable looking and sound incredible.Chasrock Services is ( ISTA 6-FEDEX_A Protocol ) certified in electronic packaging. They will be double boxed, surrounded in foam to insure safe undamaged delivery to your home or business. Yes, the shipping cost is a little high, But they are pretty large, will weigh about 50 lbs. each when packed properly for shipping, It does require a lot of packaging and time to get them done right.
