ANTIQUE TIN LITHOGRAPHED EMBOSSED SAND PAIL ~ SAILOR & HIS SWEETHEART!Romantic seaside images throughout this collectors piece, and a very hard to find example in this condition. No makers signature but dated to the turn of the century. Great color and clear images...fun being had by all those at the beach....sailor and sweetheart, young man with fishing pole and basket of fish, various children oceanside. All surrounded by ornate floral embellishment that is just gorgeous. Interio...r and base bottom show expected patina with some very faint writing on the base bottom. Should remove with your expertise and does not detract from display. A truly wonderful example and a sweet, rare addition to any collection. Measures in at 5 & 1/2" tall overall, exclusive of the handle.
