An American classic, Betsy McCall was known by all little girls in the 1950's and early 60's. From sewing patterns for adult and children's clothing, the McCall company expanded to dolls, both regular and paper.
These two pretty Betsy McCall dolls, 8" tall, are from the late 1950's. They are identical except one doll is without legs; just one of these legs is included. They bend at the knee.
Their wardrobe includes the rare Sugar & Spice long party dress with embroidered flow...ers with matching straw hat. Also included is an adorable white dress with cherries, decorated with black rick-rack as well as a short pink party dress. These 3 outfits are in excellent condition.

These dolls were played with as reflected in the clothes. All in all, they are in excellent to fair shape considering their years and how much they were played with. Cleaning and laundering of the clothes is left to the new owner. ;-)
