Up for sale is my copy of J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit" that I picked up on holiday in the UK about eight years ago. It's from the UK publisher Unwin Brothers Ltd and a 2nd edition copy of this famous novel. It is from the 13th impression 1961 and includes the maps on the inside covers and a full color illustration at the beginning. Throughout the book are further illustrations that I have snapped a couple pictures of.
Book is in good shape, no bends or tears i...n any pages and no writing or scribbling from past owners. There is no dust jacket but I picked this up in a book store in the UK, the original bag from all those years ago is included.
It's a piece I treasure but in a spot where we have to let some stuff go. I have another 1991 First Edition of the Alan Lee illustrated hardcover LOTR that I will be listings as well
