I have here for sale both volumes of the book entitled SIAM by WA Graham, with one hundred and fifty three illustrations and a map. Published in 1924 by De La More Press of London. These two books give a wonderful view of Siam, Thailand as it is now, at a crossroads in its history - moving swiftly into the twentieth century and keeping the Western Imperialists at a healthy distance. Superb photos showing people, groups, army, Buddhist priests, etc. This is the Third Edition ...and is absolutely the best - the first two were simply small handbooks whilst this set is a real guide to the country following World War One.Beautifully bound in the original red cloth hardboards with gilt elephant motif and lettering on the front boards and gilt lettering on the spines. All pages are tight and clean and the books are in very good condition. 396, 320 pages. 21 cm x 14 cm.Postage will be by Air Mail outside of UK. If you buy more than one item then the postage cost falls for the second and further items as I will put them into one parcel - so you save money. We wrap and post the parcels on Monday and Tuesday - therefore if you pay before midday on Tuesday we will get it in the postal sacks on Tuesday night, and if it is after that time then it will go into the postal service on the following Monday.
