Vintage Antique Old 30s Coleman 242A Lantern Chrome Nickel Glass Globe
Item History & Price
Reference Number: Avaluer:719784 |
This is a Coleman model 242A lantern, circa 1935.
I bought this at an estate sale and all I did was clean the dust off with a wet towel, the chrome looks awesome the vent looks great, I think if you used a chrome cleaner and brass polish it would almost look like new.(I did not want to try it in case I did something wrong) it also has the original globe with the sunshine logo and Pyrex, the logos are faded but you can still see them.it has some paint loss on the hood vent... and minor scuffs and very light nicks in the chrome, there are no dents to the body or hood, its hard to get good pictures because the chrome is so shiny, it is missing the handle but they are available on eBay.
please let me know if you want any other pictures or any other info
