George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four; A Novel. Secker & Warburg. 1950. 1st edition, 2nd impression. Bound in the original lime green cloth with red titles to the spine. Cloth shows some mottling towards the lower reaches of the boards. Gift inscription to first blank. Text block tight and unmarked. The original Michael Kennard jacket shows edge-wear, as well as some loss to the ends of the spine, but is substantially there. -Now protected by removable archival film. Priced to ...sell, even with its faults.
