Hi, Up for garb is a vintage sanyo boombox from Japan,
The unit is very compact and takes metal tapes. Extremely solid unit with lots of nice stainless steel details
I have tested the unit, the radio works perfectly with clear reception. Tape will needs a service as it plays but not continuously.
This is a very nice looking piece and is very compact for a boombox, thus will fit in to any retro inspired interior nicely.
there is also a line in option so you can connect... an ipod / ipad to this as external speaker, that will be very cool.
Vintage boombox are getting very popular now and are really the forefront for portable music on the go. secure a piece of music history from the 80s
This is part of my private collection over many years, and will surely be a proud addition to your stable.
