Offered for sale in this rare complete 14 Volume Book Set titled, THE WORKS OF HENRY WADSWORTH LONGFELLOW in very good overall condition. They were published in 1886 by Houghton, Mifflin and Company out of New York and Boston, and by The Riverside Press out of Cambridge also. The only dates are on the Copyright Page and the most current one is 1886. The pages are tight and pliable and very readable. There is light foxing and light yellowing on the pages and they still are fairly bright.... The hinges are strong and the edges have very light wear. The books are illustrated and have beautiful dark green end pages as can be seen in the one photo. This is a very good looking set of books and would look great on any shelf or bookcase! They measure about 8 1/4" by 5 1/2".
