Vintage " Hardy Bros. Ltd. The Perfect " - 3 7/8 " Fly Reel

This Hardy's "Perfect" reel has "The Perfect 3 7/8, Made By Hardy Bros. Ltd, England" impressed in to the back plate.The reel revolves well with a constant check and there there is no play when the spool is rocked.The smooth alloy foot is well attached, as is the handle, however, the handle does wobble a little.The rim regulator screw moves fine.The line guide is solidly attached and I can't find any cracks or chips to the lining. The reel has retained much of its' original grey finis...h, but there is an arera of loss around the handle, as well as the usual scratches, marks and scuffs that come with years of use.
