THIS Big Little Book IS IN GOOD TO VERY GOOD CONDITION BUT DOES HAVE FLAWS, see below. Four color illustrations (5th photo) are mostly on odd numbered pages. According to biglittlebooks.com this book is valued from $9.00 up to $36.00 depending on the condition. Also, from the description on the same site, I believe this copy is from the 2nd printing. The 2016 on the spine is the series number while the 16 at spine top is the book number as noted in the book list on back cover (last photo). Back cover text gives a bit of a hint about the story.
Marks: Name (2nd photo), no tape or other writing on pages or covers; inside front cover has $1.00 & scribble in pencil (2nd photo).
Tears: None
Corners: Page are like new save one teeny, tiny fold. Cover are square with slight bends with scuffs & paper cover loss.
Binding: Very, very tight, spine covering is nearly like new save tiny spots of color loss on spine edges; spine corners have scuffs with paper cover loss.
Cover: Both are very good save vertical slight wrinkle lines & paper cover loss to board edges + back has light gray smudges & spots of paper cover loss showing white to top left & bottom right corner areas.
