Tonight I'm happy to offer, from a recently purchased estate, Sherman, Vintage, Early 1950's - Lemon Citrine and Hyacinth Orange Color - Round and Baguette Shaped Crystals - Fan Cluster Motif and Triple Line Necklace and Earring Set. EXTREMELY RARE EARLY DESIGN & COLOR COMBINATION! - EXCELLENT CONDITION! - NO RESERVE! This graceful and elegant set dates from the early 1950's, made by the well known Canadian firm of "Sherman" designed as a double line of small crystals taperin...g into a centered triple row and accented with two fan shaped clusters and layered and stacked for a 3-D effect. The set is done in a series of dazzling and intense lemon citrine and hyacinth orange color round and marquise shaped crystals set in a gold plated setting. The necklace comes with a pair of .75" cluster earrings that match the colors of the necklace. The necklace measures 14" in length with a 3" extension chain for a total length of 17".
The brooch is in excellent condition showing only normal use all the original stones, none missing or replaced with no loss to the finish or plating.
The necklace is marked on the back of the chain, Sherman on a small gold oval and Sherman on the back of the ear screws.SHERMAN Sherman was a Canadian costume jewelry company that produced very high-quality pieces. Colorful or clear prong-set rhinestones or cut crystal beads (sometimes with an aurora borealis finish) adorn most Sherman pieces; the metal is rhodium-plated or gold-plated.
