this is the fourth edition of this biography of Oliver Cromwell, bound in an old full leather binding, internally illustrated with an engraved frontispiece, preface and contents followed by the main work running to 330 pages, plus rear index and publishers 3 page catalogue, 7 inches tall approx.
CONDITION
the leather binding has general rubbing wear with surface marks and scrapes, upper joint cracked though board holding, with mild evidence of a glue repair, old ownership names to front endpapers and title page, front endpapers browned at edges, rear endpapers heavily browned, a few minor marks and light browning else main body of contents in good general condition
