The Florida Highwaymen Painting Signed Hardcover Book African American Signature.
Up for auction is an amazing collection of Florida Highwaymen Signatures (13 signatures) all in one Book Titled “The Highwaymen” by Gary Monroe”. The book is a hard cover and in amazing condition. The books value alone when bought was $34.95. The book in this condition WITHOUT signatures sells for $25-$30 alone. This book contains the collection of a “Dennis”. Dennis set out to snag as many s...ignatures as possible and managed to get 13 Original Signatures most of them signed on one of the pages labeled “The Plates” which has a printed image of one of the artists works. Now mind you, many of the Florida Highwaymen have passed which would make it impossible to get their signatures in modern day.Dennis seemed to have many of the painters personal business cards in the book. Unfortunately we lost some of them but managed to recover two of them. During the estate sale people were taking them out of the book for their own personal reasons, we were told. (Stole them.) Below is a list of all the signatures we found and page location. Signatures themselves are in the pictures above.
