Hardback, with protective card slip case. Cream cloth covers with brown leather (?) spine with gilt design and title to the spine. 587 pages. Brown to page tops. 8vo. Illustrated end papers. A number of b&w illustrations, some full-page, throughout the text.
The slip case is in good / fair condition. There is so...me wear/rubbing to the edges and corners, especially to the case's entrance. There is some light staining to the back of the case (see photo.).
The book's condition is very good. There is a little rubbing to the head and heel of the spine, and to it's edges. Inside, the pages are clean, complete and in good condition, with all bindings tight.
