Two-volume set on the Peace of Utrecht ending the war of Spanish occupation (further volumes came out as negotiations continued). Leather binding with gilt spines. Cracking on hinges, chips on spines, wear along edges of covers. Split down the center of spine of vol. 1, but otherwise bindings intact. Some foxing and discoloration, but pages... in very good condition. With one fold-out table and numerous engravings of the coats of arms of participating families from each nation.
