Offered here is RARE Vintage WORKING Commodore CBM 4008 computer. This computer seems to function well and displays the 32K of memory. When Commpdore sold these, they did not want them to be upgraed so they put a hole in the circuit board (pictured) to prevent it. This one however was upgraded to 32k by an owner skilled at soldering. Making it effectiively a 4032 model but with the original 4008 board. I learned programming on a 4032 in High school.&...nbsp; My! where did the time go! Most games were developed for these Commodore 40 character computers. These can be readily found online. I ran a very simply program and the computer executed the program as it should. I believe the computer is fully functional however I have not thoroughly tested it. Please keep this in mind when purchasing. Computer has obviously been stored in a dry place for many years. Keyboard works great! Very clean machine with th nlbel completely intact (no missing corners). The 4008 model is particularily hard to find; perhaps rarer than the 2001. There is nothing broken and display is bright. 220v power. Sold "as is" due to age of electronics and no returns. However at this time, the computer seems to work great! Buyer pays shipping.
