An original World War Two letter including the cover written by Colonel Joe Cottrell who was a P.O.W. The letter was sent from Fort Mills Philippine Islands which was in Corregidor. It is dated Sept 14, 1941. In one area he says, ......We listen to the news whenever we can these days as we are very much interested in finding out just what Japan is going to do. From the latest reports it looks as though things might... quiet down...........I only hope that the War Dept is smart enough to push things along and not be lulled into a false sense of security. The situation is apt to change over night.......... I currently have other items listed that belonged to this person. The letter has some wear. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
