If you have an old Eastman View or Century Camera you may have a use for this beautiful old plate holder. Or you could repurpose it into a picture frame, as I have with others, or use your imagination in a piece of art. Reads EXPOSED on both sides of the black sliders. As you can see, the wood frame is a beautiful, warm, deep red gold - cherry wood, I believe. The sliders come out and inside on the cardboard center there are cushions of felt. EASTMAN VIEW PLATE HOLDER - will fit ...Eastman View or Century Cameras manufactured by Eastman Kodak Company, Rochester, NY. Dates to the early 1900s. The opening (inside) the wood frame measures 5" x 6.75" and including the outside of the wood frame it measures 6" x 9" in entirety. It is half an inch deep. Originally came with an Eastman View No. 2 bellows camera.
