This is a travel guide printed by the Catholic University Press in 1946 in Peking. This is a complete travel guide with 2 maps (Peping City Map and Peping and Environs). Both maps are present and attached but both have small tears from opening. Also contained is general history, cuisine, places of interest, translations of common words, bw photos, and quite a number of interesting ads.Condition is very good. The book is complete and together. There is minor creasing present on the cove...r and the corners of some of the pages. I mentioned the tears in the maps. There is a small tear on the spine as well. No water stains and no musty smell.This is a great look at post war China and would be valuable to anyone interested in the history of this great city.
