FRENCH NAPOLEONIC AN XI HEAVY CAVALRY CUIRASSIER SWORD:In very good original condition. Absolutely authentic. 43 ½ inch overall length. Fine brass hilt with very good inspector’s stamps. Very good original grip retaining all of its leather wrapping and original wiring. Fine 37 ¾ inch blade with no nicks, dings, etc. on the cutting edge. Good ricasso proofmark. Faint spine markings. Blade and hilt are perfectly tight together. No scabbard. A legendary and impressive French Napoleoni...c sword!
