This is a very nice clean copy of the first edition of this fairy story with beautiful illustrations by Arthur Rackham. The spine is slightly faded and there is some discolouration of the endpapers and tissue papers as one would expect in a book of this age, but it is otherwise in very good order with illustrations, gilding etc in nice bright condi...tion.
I believe that it was a christening gift for my grandmother and has been kept in the same family home for over a century, this is probably why it is in good condition as it has not been moved around much.
