Original Description:
Edison-Lalande battery in very good original condition.There are naturally signs of its age and prior useage. I do not see any cracks or damage on the porcelain.The plates inside have some corrosion on them.From what I could find out these batteries  were mainly used for Edison fans and phonographs from the late 1800, s to the early 1900, s. I am no expert in this area so please do your own research.This battery is being sold as is for display only.I have no idea if... it would actually work. The battery dimensions are 5 1/2"wide X 8 1/2" tall.  Thank you
