SCI-FI*1st EDITION*"MISSION TO THE MOON"*1956*BY LESTER DEL REY*NO DUST JACKET. It turns out I had 15 of these books but this one does not have a dust jacket, that's why I missed when I was getting the others off the shelf. It's the last one I have left, for sure now. The end papers on the inside cover were designed by Alex Schomburg, he also designed all the dust jackets for the series. The book is in good condition, check the pictures closely, I tried to show ...any defects. Please be sure and do this as I don't want anyone to be disappointed in a purchase from me. The inside is in excellent condition, no marks, dog-eared pages, stains or broken spine. Of course the pages are yellowed from age but the print is still dark and clear as the day it was printed. I know the dust jacket is very desirable but I hope someone also appreciates the book, or has one with a dust jacket but needs to upgrade the book condition, this could be just the ticket. I am in the process of downsizing and have been collecting most of my life. I also seem to have "inherited" a lot of things from other family members ( most are still alive those that aren't, are not the ones I "inherited" from. I will take me a long, long time to empty out my large house full of things I love. I am actually turning loose of the things I had planned to leave behind but no-one seems to want them and the kids want me to start getting rid of it since I have moved into and apartment and my daughter and her family (4 little kids) are living in the house with all my things and I worry about what will happen to them. My loss can be your gain. I have everything from primitives to crystal and china, old books and 1st Editions, along with livestock and horse equipment. Please consider me for your list of favorites as I'm just getting started so there will be a lot more to see and I will be adding new things almost daily.
