Hammond Organ Tube Amp Chassis AO-43 Complete with TubesYou're bidding on an amplifier chassis from a Hammond Organ in used condition. This was pulled from a Hammond L-Series organ This amp looks to be complete. This is from a stock collected by an older guy who's heavily into Hammond organs. He plays his organ daily, and collects parts from organs he finds through the newspaper classifieds. He tends to be very careful to document his stock. This amp has had a few condensers replac...ed--see photos of the underside of chassis. It is complete, including tubes. It may still need some updating, however. There aren't many notes associated with this amp, but the guy who had it usually marks items with any potential issues or which he hasn't tested fully. Because this has had parts replaced, I suspect that he got it working well before placing it in storage. The tubes are all included. The tube lineup for this amp includes a 12BH7, (2) 12AX7, (2) 6BQ5, and a 5U4, for a total of (6) tubes. The power cord is intact. The connector plugs are all intact, but no wiring harnesses are provided. I have no schematic, but I think they may be findable--or just trace the wires to locate the inputs and outputs. There's a connector on one short end that's marked "spkr, " and there are some phonograph plugs along the long edge--one is marked "red" which I believe to be for the reverb unit, and the others are marked "wh" and "gy" which are likely the inputs. There's another plug which I think supplies power to the rest of the organ, and yet another that switches the reverb in and out. Hooking this up for use in another amp project should be easy for someone who knows what they're doing. If you're looking to repair a faulty amp in your Hammond, this might be an excellent starting point. If you're looking to build a custom amplifier unit around a sturdy and dependable amp chassis, this will really do the trick! It's old, so there may be some condensers and maybe some other components which could stand replacement, but I believe that this is a good, original amp chassis. I think that if you're handy with electronics, you'll find that this unit will be easy to place into service! Please message me with any questions about this amp. I want to hear from you!A-004163; 060619
