Hickory Dickory Dock (First Edition) Christie, Agatha. Published by Collins Crime Club, London (1955) First Edition and impression. Bound in the publisher's hardcover Red boards, titled in black, a little bumped to the spine ends. Pages lightly toned, a few minor spots, previous owner's inscription to the fep, else clean and tight internally. Closed edges with some spotting and toning. Jacket unclipped and protected, minor chipping to the spine ends, some soiling, spine fad...ed. Good+ to Vg-/Good+.

But, reasoned Poirot, if this was merely a petty thief at work, why was everyone at the hostel so frightened?

May have small flaws, and has probably been read, but should appear overall clean and attractive. Good (G): Will probably have significant wear or damage, although is still intact. Suitable for reading, but not necessarily a good gift copy. The old saying in bookselling is "good ain't good." Fair: Another term for Poor or Reading Copy: Heavily worn or damaged, a poor book will be readable but not attractive.
