One of the greatest novels of all time and in more recent years adapted into an award winning film. Early impressions are rare with first edition first impressions achieving four figures at auction and upwards of £5000 with a dustwrapper.
This first edition second impression has some issues. The binding is a little loose but complete, the rebound boards have some wear and the fron...t board is slightly detached in part from the spine board. The endpapers, early pages and page edges have some foxing. A stamp to the title page suggests that the book belonged to a book club or library but there are no other markings. A rare copy and priced according to condition.
Will be despatched wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box.
