THIS SCARCE 166 PAGE HARDCOVER BOOK HAS A BIT OF FRAYING TO THE TOP OF THE SPINE AND THE SPINE LABEL HAS WEAR AND SOILING. THE BACK COVER HAS EVIDENCE OF DAMPSTAINING THAT EXTENDS INTO THE LAST FIFTEEN PAGES. THE HINGES ARE TIGHT BUT THE FRONT ENDPAPER AND THE BACK TWO ENDPAPERS HAVE A PIECE MISSING AT THE TOP CORNERS. THE PAGES ARE WHITE WITH NO FOXING. SEVERAL FRONT PAGES HAVE A SIGNATURE AND ADDRESS AS WELL AS SMALL PENCILED DRAWINGS. THE BACK ENDPAPER ALSO HAS A SIGNATURE AND ADDRE...SS. IF YOU LOOK REALLY CLOSELY YOU CAN SEE THAT THE BACK COVER HAS A SLIGHT BEND. THE INDIVIDUAL WHO SIGNED THIS BOOK WOULD BE INTERESTING TO RESEARCH TO SEE IF HE WAS IN THE CIVIL WAR.
