Ireland from the original painted by the author's young sister Jane Ireland. The last page (which is the last sheet of the index) w...ith marking and blue paper around the outside- the text is still visible- no loss.
W. H. Ireland being the author/forger of the Shakespeare manuscripts, the first poem after the dedicatory poem is addressed to Thomas Chatterton who committed suicide at 17, after passing off some of his work as being written in the 15th century by a poet called Thomas Rowley.
