Upfor your bidding pleasure is a double signed Pittsburgh reversepainted table lamp. The shade is reverse painted on a 14"chipped ice shade. The reverse and obverse painted shade is often referred to as the"Tropical" or "Jungle" scene lamp. It has a blue skyand palm trees and tropical vegetation surrounding the shade. Thecolors are clean and crisp. The pictures really show the beauty of thislamp and gives... the best description so take a good look. This is onefantastic lamp. The shade is free of any chips, cracks orrepairs. The base is nickel plated and it is original to theshade and is equipped with 2 General Electric pull chain sockets. Itis double signed on the base and weight plate with the Pittsburgh logo P.L.B.& G. Co. #2127 & #2128 and has been rewired with a period brown clothcord and old plug. I have listed a picture of this lamp from page 65from the reference book "Better Electric Lamps of the 20's and 30's. It can be seen in the last picture. If you want a perfect lamp, go to Sears orJ.C. Penny's. 144SHIPPING DISCLOSURE I have tried my best to keep shipping cost low but therates just keep getting higher and higher. I ship using the U. S Postal Serviceas I find them the safest shipper. The shipping cost to the Midwest and farwest is so much more than what I have to deal with here in the Northeast. Ihave struggled with doing this as I didn't want to lose my bidders/buyers westof me but it just adds up to too much money in the long run. Please understand I do this very reluctantly, as such, I am adding 20% to anything being shipped to zip codes that begin withthe number 5, 6 or 7 and 33% to anythingbeing shipped to zip codes 8 and 9. Example $65.00 regular shipping cost to zipcode that begin with 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4 is just that $65.00. Zip codes that begin with 5, 6 or 7 would be $65.00times 20% which equals $13.00 which is added to the $65.00 and becomes $78.00. Zip codes that begin with 8 or 9 would be $65.00times 33% which is $21.45 which then becomes $86.45. Your invoice will beadjusted to your zip code.
