Published by Grosset & Dunlap as a reprint, to tie-in with the 1937 movie of the same name, starring Paul Muni and Louise Rainer (both pictured in a pastoral scene on the dustjacket).
Very good condition. The book shows very little wear. Its pages are lightly tanned from age, but unmarked and the binding is square and tight. The jacket has tears in its corner...s, but is otherwise complete and intact, and very presentable now in clear, removable mylar.
