Up for sale is the illustrated hardcover book titled "The Curlytops on Star Island" or "Camping Out With Grandpa" by Howard R Garis and illustrator, Julia Greene. It was published by Cupples & Leon Company has a 1918 copyright. Sky blue cover with black print. The book is in acceptable vintage condition with a firm spine. Book Condition Issues: Overall wear to all faces, edges and corners of covers. Name of a previous owner stamped on first page. Some curling of cover corners. Insect damage in lower margin pages 29-69. Dark brown stain in lower margin area on pages 190-210. Lower corner crease to illustration opposite title page. Back cover beginning to split from bottom up. Please see photos.
