VINTAGE WALL SCONCESThis listing is for a matched pair of candle holders that hang on the wall. They are made of metal and probably date to the 1960s. The back piece is shaped like a starburst and made of thin bent metal with a matte black painted finish. The round pieces are finished with a shiny gold color plating and the candle wells are finished in shiny silver color plating. They each have a loop for hanging. Photo 5 shows the construction and hanger. The bolt is attached to the b...ack of the candle well, threads through the gold disc and starburst and is secured by a nut.
They each measure about 9 5/8 inches tall and wide. They measure about 2 5/8 inches from the wall to the front of the candle holder when hung.
They are in good condition with no dents or dings. There is some oxidation of the finish on the gold and silver color plating (photo 11 is a collage of areas affected). There are a few chips to the black paint on the tips of the points (photo 12).
