This auction is for a vintage early 70's boxed set of JRR Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hobbit. Lot includes:The Fellowship of the Ring - (01533 40th prt 1973)The Two Towers - (01534 34th prt 1972)The Return of the King - (01535 35th prt 1972)The Hobbit - (U7039 15th prt 1968)All 4 books are Authorized Edition Houghton Mifflin Company Dolphin Edition with Ballantine Books.The 3 Lord of the Rings books are in very nice unread condition with no writi...ng and very glossy covers. The slipcase cover is nice, but shows some shelf-wear rubs. The Hobbit shows some wear and has a name stamp inside.
