Vintage 1930s German Miniature Child's Sewing Machine w Box and Gift SentimentThis is an excellent example of a German manufactured child’s sewing machine that we date to the pre-War era of the 1930s. we haven’t been able to trace the maker; it is stamped Made in Germany and has a logo of an eagle with spread wingsholding a key in his talons.It is in full working order and has retained its table clamp. It has pressed metal body with a black paint finish. This is decorated with red... art deco stylised flowers and gold trim.It comes in the original card box with a young girl at a full sized sewing machine. There is also a letter that reads;“Dear MargetJust a little gift for Christmas. Now you will be able to help Mother with the mending, mind you fingers.A merry ChristmasAuntie Rita(?)”It is excellent complete condition with no faults or damage to report; free of rust; a little pitting to the gloss finish on the paint (nothing significant – mentioned for accuracy). The box is a little time wear and scuffed but intact.
