A beautiful, small, antique book on insect life. 4.75" x 6.75", 320 pages.The interior pages are unmarked, no folds or tears, very, very, light tanning as expected of a book so old, tight binding. The illustrations are really fabulous. The color ones are unfaded and still very bright. The b/w illustrations are numerous and fantastic. The book is written as if a father is explaining insect life to his kids and there is an underlying religious message also. Very representative of the tim...e. The book's exterior is scuffed, and slightly stained. This is a unique book that can be read today and enjoyed.
