Hello there. This is a copy of Marcus Aurelius' Meditations from 1956. I don't have the dust jacket for the book, but it has a wonderful case of old book smell and is in rather nice condition for a book from that era. I have no intention of reading it any time soon so I'd much rather have someone else get the chance to add this to their collection.
Here's a review someone wrote of the book which I found amusing:"I am sincerely pissed that I was not provided a copy of this as a kid g...rowing up. I have devised a work around to the whole "Not growing up with a father figure" issue. I have decided that Marcus Aurealis is my actual father, and Socrates is my great uncle and Thales is my grand father. I realize this sounds nutty to read but I honestly feel more in common with these thinkers then the absent XY chromosome donor."
