I have here for sale two books entitled THE OLD AND NEW TESTAMENT Connected in the History of the Jews and Neighbouring Nations from the Declension of the Kingdoms of Israel and Judah to the Time of Christ by HUMPHREY PRIDEAUX Dean of Norwich. I have VOLUME I PART I containing 574 pages, and VOLUME II PART II containing pages 369 to 671 plus the Index. They were published by R Knaplock & J Tonson, London, in 1720. Vol I, the book is divided into 8 books, each of which ha...s an illustrated header and initial letter; Vol II Pt II contains books VI through to IX.Tan leather boards with a gilt border. Two boards are missing from the four that should be here so the books are reading copies only. Five raised bands with gilt number on the spine. Prelim and title page detached and last two pages are partially detached. Some yellowing to a few pages but all text pages are intact and the book is in very good internal condition. 20.5 x 13 cm.Postage will be by Air Mail outside of UK. If you buy more than one item then the postage cost falls for the second and further items as I will put them into one parcel - so you save money. We wrap and post the parcels on Monday and Tuesday - therefore if you pay before midday on Tuesday we will get it in the postal sacks on Tuesday night, and if it is after that time then it will go into the postal service on the following Monday.
