Vintage Art Glass : large amethyst Vase probably Whitefriars? C.1957A large amethyst Vase of flared tapered cyclindric form with hand formed top rim - unknown maker circa probably 1957? We are hesitant to call this Whitefriars only because there is two small pieces of grit in the glass - it has a polished pontil as expected though and internal moulded body . Whitefriars catalogue shows production started in 1957
