The book measures 10 1/2 X 9; (slim 4to); softcover; string bound color printed stiff pictorial wrappers; spine edge is split with additional stitching sewn-on thread repairs; front cover nearly detached; 2" tear on fore-edge of front cover; several small... tears on edges of covers; small losses in tips of corners of covers; covers stained, age toned, foxed & soiled; edges worn; light ink inscription on front cover; small stains, foxing spots, and age toning throughout contents; 4 " repaired tear on 3rd page of text; small tears & losses on edges of last two pages; 12 pages + adverts on rear cover includes 6 full page illustrations in full color (chromolithography).This is an antique printing.
