I have here for sale a book entitled THE MYTH OF THE MYSTIC EAST by ROBERT ELLIOT. This FIRST EDITION, second impression was published in 1935 by WM. BLACKWOOD, London.
Much research into Indian Conjuring, The Rope Trick, Witchcraft etc., and much on Snake Lore and Snake Bite, Mongoose & Snake, Snake Charmers, and anecdotes of snake encounters. Author was Chairman of the Occult Committee of the Magic Circle.
Bound in green linen boards. Black illustration to the front board a...nd black title lettering to the spine. Board edges are darkened with age and corners and spine ends a little bumped. Foxing throughout. Top edge of front endpaper is torn and missing. It remains tightly bound with no loose or missing pages 301pp 21cm x 15 cm.
