The bulk of the volume deals with the period prior to 1900, but the last quarter covers the present century. There are several maps and numerous illustrations which add greatly to the interest of the book. The compiler, a Board Certified Genealogist, has written several other historical works and articles, and is well-known for her historical accuracy and literary skills. She has also included a wealth of personal data on local residents in this volume. Third edition of 1988In good used condition.
